State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has released five (5) employment notifications for the recruitment of 2350 posts of Sub Inspector (AB), Sub Inspector (UB), Assistant Jailor, Constable (UB), Constable (AB), Safai Karmachari, Driver Constable, Driver, etc in the Assam Police, Assam Commando Battalions, F & ES, DGCD & CGHG, Forest Department and Prison Department.

✅ Constable (AB): Candidates must have passed HSLC or Class X from a government-recognized Board or Council.

✅ Sub Inspector (UB) & Assistant Jailor: Applicants must hold a Graduate degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or an equivalent stream from a recognized College/ Institution affiliated with a recognized University.

✅ Station Officer & Squad Commander: Applicants must have a B.Sc. degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized College/ Institution affiliated with a recognized University.

✅ Sub Inspector of Police (Communication): 

• B.Sc. (Electronics Science / IT / Computer Science) – 10+2+3 pattern OR

• 3-year Diploma from a State Polytechnic in Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics / IT / Instrumentation / Computer Engineering / Computer Science + 2 years of work experience in Electronics, Telecom, IT, or related fields OR

• 3-year Polytechnic Diploma in the above fields + additional 2-year course in Telecommunication / IT / Computer Science / Computer Engineering OR

• Master of Computer Applications (MCA) OR
• B.E./B.Tech in E&T.C / Computer / Instrumentation / IT or any equivalent discipline.

✅ Sub Inspector (AB): Applicants must hold a Graduate degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University.

✅ Driver Constable, Constable (Dispatch Rider/ Messenger/ Handymen), Driver, Driver Operator, Driver Constable:

• Applicants must have passed HSLC or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council.

• For Driver-related posts in Assam Police, APRO, and Forest Department—Applicants must possess a valid driving licence for LMV/MMV/HMV (as applicable).
• For Driver and Driver Operator posts in Fire & Emergency Services, a valid HMV licence is mandatory.

✅ Safai Karmachari: Applicants must have passed at least Class VI from a recognized School /Institution. The maximum permissible qualification is Class XII (HSSLC) from a recognized Board or Council.
